The Goreville School has 3 bands: Beginning, Jr. High and High.

Mrs. Stanley has been the band director at Goreville for 24 years. 

The Beginning Band is made up of 4th and 5th grade band students.

They each meet for 30 minutes a day to play their instruments.

They perform in the Winter and Spring Concerts and they also sometimes perform at local nursing homes and other venues.

In the 2015 - 2016 school year the Beginning Band ended the year with 37 members.
