Goreville Elementary School is located at 201 S. Ferne Clyffe Road in Goreville, Illinois and houses grades Pre-Kindergarten through 8. Goreville Elementary boasts a state-of-art age-appropriate Early Learning Center for all students ages 3-5 to have an opportunity to gain a head-start on their precious education as well as a very technology rich environment in our K-8 facility.  In 2012 we were named an International SMART Showcase School and in 2016 we were named a "Top 50" in the national Future Ready Schools Initiative due to our commitment to engaged learning!  Each classroom has 2-3 networked computer stations as well as completely integrated SmartBoard interactive studio systems with document cameras and video systems. The Elementary Computer Lab has 24 networked computer systems with an integrated SmartBoard system while the Media Center has 14 networked stations for research, homework, or any other need the students may have plus three 30 station mobile labs consisting of an IPad Lab, a Chromebook Lab, and a Microsoft Laptop Lab that can be used wirelessly in any classroom. 

The District offers a variety of extra programs including Marching and Concert Band, Music Appreciation, Art, and Computer Technology. Goreville several sports and clubs that students can join, take part and find success.  In fact, our middle school has placed in the Junior High State Tournament 26 times in 5 different sports including 8 State Titles in 1980, 2000, 2006, 2013, two state championships in 2014, and one in 2016!
