Hello and welcome to KINDERGARTEN! 

I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child this year. Kindergarten will be a year full of many fun, exciting, and challenging learning opportunities for your child. My number one priority as a teacher is to provide an environment where your child feels valued and loved while creating memorable opportunities of growth and learning. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and trust in me throughout the upcoming school year as your child’s teacher.

I graduated from SIUC with my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and received my early childhood special education endorsement from EIU. I will graduate this semester with my Master’s degree in Educational Administration with Principal Specialization through SIUE.

This is my 10th year teaching here at Goreville but I have been in the education field for many years. I absolutely love teaching kindergarten! It is my mission to instill a love for learning in all of my students.

My husband and I both have a passion for education. He is a mathematics educator of 15 years and is currently working on his Ph.D. We have three beautiful daughters, Oaklee, Kaylee, and Eva. Any little extra time I have outside of school is happily spent with my family and our three dogs. We enjoy going to ball games, church, camping, exploring the outdoors, and sight-seeing. We also teach a college and career class together.
