08-09 VOLLEYBALL CATS REGIONAL CHAMPS

For the first time in school history and in only the second year since starting the program , the Goreville Junior High Lady Cats Volleyball Team defeated Zeigler-Royalton and the host and number one seed Christopher Lady Bearcats to claim the school's first ever IJHSAA Regional Volleyball Tournament Title!  The Jr. Lady Cats were defeated by eventual State Champion All Saints, a private school from Nashville, at the IJHSAA State Tournament in Nashville.
