The Goreville FFA Chapter competed in the National Chapter Award program sponsored through the National FFA Organization. The National Chapter Award is broken up into four parts: Growing Leaders, Building Communities, and Strengthening Agriculture, and an overall winner. The National Chapter award is designed to teach students the value of working on their chapter, the student, and the community. The Goreville FFA Chapter won the State in the area of Growing Leaders and placed 2nd overall in the State!No Headlines to display

Goreville CUSD 1 has been recognized as a Top 50 in the Nation "Future Ready School" with our work and progress toward our Technology Implementation Plan! Goreville Schools implemented our "1:1 Technology Initiative" Phase 1 that included Chromebooks for all high school students and enhanced broadband access in 2015 and will complete Phases 2 and 3 for the 2016-2017 school year that will provide IPads for K-4 students and Chromebooks for students in grades 5-8!
